Hanertech Accepts Xiaogang Government's Rigorous "Review"
Focusing on "innovation," industries accelerate transformation and upgrading.
On December 12, the second-half-year city-wide "Observe, Compare, Learn, and Promote" field inspection event for industrial projects entered its final day. Hu Jiuming, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, along with Wu Qinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, led the delegation on a series of visits to Xiaochang County, the Municipal High-Tech Zone, and Xiaonan District, where they "reviewed" 26 newly operational industrial projects. Deng Daowei, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress; Zhang Hanping, Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference; and Xie Shengli, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, also attended the event.
Various regions are vigorously promoting the integrated development of technological innovation and industrial innovation. On one hand, they are leveraging new technologies to transform and upgrade traditional industries, helping them strengthen their competitive edges in advantageous areas, address weaknesses in vulnerable sectors, and forge new strengths in promising fields. On the other hand, they are actively nurturing emerging industries, innovative business models, and fresh growth drivers, continuously exploring new frontiers and pathways for development. Everywhere you look, there’s a vibrant scene of striving for higher quality and embracing transformative upgrades.
Xiaochang County has 8 projects participating in the training exercise. Hefeng Electromechanical focuses on the R&D and production of compressors and carbon composite materials, maintaining close collaborations with universities such as Wuhan University of Science and Technology. This partnership has resulted in multiple invention patents, which have already been put into commercial production. Meanwhile, Hanertech’s stator and rotor components are key parts of motors used in new-energy vehicle generators and starters. The company leverages digitalization to enhance every stage of its manufacturing process—ranging from production and testing to quality inspection—significantly boosting both efficiency and product quality. The project was completed and began operations in July, with plans to officially join the statistical system by October. Meanwhile, Yongmingda Equipment, capitalizing on its robust technological capabilities and R&D strengths, has successfully “crossed over” from manufacturing eco-friendly equipment into producing smart, space-themed guesthouse pods—a move that accelerates its efforts to capture a leading position in the burgeoning cultural and tourism industry.
The High-Tech Zone of the city has 9 projects participating in the "La Lian" initiative. The Xiaogang 3D Science Center primarily focuses on tackling supercomputing tasks that traditional supercomputers struggle—or even fail—to handle. According to rigorous testing by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the center has been rated CP-S4 for computing power and CE-S5 for energy efficiency (both at the highest levels). It has already provided robust computational support to numerous well-known enterprises and institutions in cutting-edge scientific research and industrial simulations, injecting powerful momentum into the High-Tech Zone as it stakes its claim in the burgeoning new frontier of the digital economy. Meanwhile, Haneng Equipment is dedicated to the research, development, and application of advanced heat-transfer technologies. Collaborating closely with universities, the company has established a joint laboratory to continuously drive technological innovation and breakthroughs. Its newly developed products—such as green, low-temperature purification systems and efficient waste-heat recovery solutions—are already among the industry's top performers. Meanwhile, Shenglu New Materials' high-performance fiber fabrics have garnered strong interest from leading automakers both domestically and internationally. Once production begins, the company’s manufacturing lines will operate at full capacity, with Phase II of the project slated to kick off by the end of this month.
In Xiaonan District, 9 projects participated in the training exercise, among which 5 were paper hygiene product enterprises, driving the industry's development at a "new" pace. Hengan Hygiene Products' Intelligent & Digital Industrial Park is equipped with a R&D design center, SAP and MES systems, an intelligent warehouse digital twin management platform, smart workshops, and unmanned warehouses. Thanks to frequent product launches coupled with digital and intelligent empowerment, Hengan has firmly secured its position as an industry leader. Leveraging 5G technology, Tianjiao Hygiene Products has achieved equipment networking, visualized order-based production, and intelligent warehousing and logistics management, significantly boosting production efficiency, product quality, and overall logistics management effectiveness. Meanwhile, Chenxi Paper Industry continues to explore market demands and enhance its technological capabilities; its newly launched "Qingrun" series of premium products has already garnered enthusiastic responses since their debut on the market.
City leaders praised various regions for making "new" breakthroughs and striving for excellence in quality, emphasizing the need to steadfastly forge ahead in advancing both technological and industrial innovation. They underscored the importance of simultaneously driving the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries while fostering the growth of emerging and future-oriented industries. Additionally, they highlighted the critical role of integrating and strengthening the innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain, and talent chain to fully unlock new potential for productivity, ensuring all-out efforts to cultivate and develop cutting-edge productive forces and continuously deliver fresh achievements in high-quality development.
Officials from the Party and government in each county (city, district) emphasized that county-level development is now a vibrant race of countless boats vying for progress—every vessel striving to move forward. They stressed the need to plan and drive initiatives with an enhanced development coefficient of 1.5, viewing the cultivation of new-quality productivity as the biggest opportunity for overtaking competitors on a curve. By seizing every favorable moment and leveraging all available advantages, they pledged to boldly "dare to act quickly," relentlessly pursuing excellence and leading the way in shaping new drivers and competitive edges for sustained growth.
Relevant leaders from the city's "Four Leading Bodies," as well as officials in charge of Party and government affairs from each county (city, district) and the three municipal districts directly under the city, and officials from the city's key economic departments, attended the training exercise.
