Flue Gas Heat Exchanger
The SGG gas-to-gas heat exchanger utilizes Pillow plate heat transfer elements arranged at specific intervals. Inside the plates are clean gas channels, while the outer surfaces accommodate the process gas (flue gas) flow. The spacing between the heat transfer plates can be flexibly designed and adjusted according to the operating conditions. Combined with a wide-channel design, the Pillow plate heat transfer elements not only deliver exceptionally high heat transfer efficiency but also feature low pressure drop, excellent resistance to high temperatures and pressures, durability against dust accumulation, and ease of cleaning.
Significantly superior technical features compared to conventional heat exchangers.

Product Description
Equipment Advantages
High heat transfer efficiency: Based on the application of pillow-shaped heat transfer plates, the media inside and outside the plate can not only achieve countercurrent heat transfer under appropriate conditions but also attain a superior turbulent flow state, thereby enabling the heat exchanger to maintain a higher heat transfer coefficient.
Wide channel, dust-resistant: The spacing of the pillow-shaped plates can be adjusted larger or smaller depending on the level of flue gas contamination, and the natural curved surface of the plates also makes it difficult for dust and dirt to accumulate, making the pillow-shaped plate-type flue gas heat exchanger exceptionally well-suited for dirty, dusty environments.
Low wind resistance, minimal pressure drop: The flue gas flows in a sinusoidal pattern outside the plates, and the parallel arrangement of the plate assembly significantly reduces the airflow resistance of the heat exchanger compared to conventional designs.
High internal pressure within the plate: Under different plate design configurations, the pressure used inside the plate exceeds 60 bar. The failure pressure inside the plate can reach up to 200 bar.
Removable and easy to clean: A cleaning door can be designed on the flue gas side, and the parallel arrangement of the plates makes cleaning work exceptionally convenient. Alternatively, the heat-transfer plates can be designed with flexible hose connections, allowing individual plates to be easily removed for cleaning.
